Abacus Auto Services prides itself on being your Number 1 local garage for high quality services, professionalism and affordability.

Established in 1995 by Paul Chance and run as a close-knit family business we always aim to give a personal, local level of service to our customers.

In 1996 we became a certified Unipart Car Care Centre, giving you a 12,000 mile / 12 month nationwide guarantee on all our work and parts.

The business has grown form strength-to-strength since launch, including winner of Redditch Youth Enterprise Initiative from the Princes Trust in 1997. Abacus Auto Services also became the first garage in the Midlands to achieve the BSI Kite Mark for garage services (and one of the first ten nationwide!). In the same year we also signed up to the Good Garage Scheme ensuring that all of our technicians are trained and qualified according to the Automotive Technician Accreditation scheme.

In 2008 we signed up to the Motor Industry Code of Practice, giving you assurance we operate as a responsible business.

As part of our pledge to operate responsibly we use ICME job times. This means that any billed work is in accordance with the manufacturer’s specified and recommended times for each job - however, further than this we charge an even cheaper per-hour rate than the main dealerships - making sure you will always get the best price from us. Additionally we will never carry out repairs on your car without your prior consent.
